Forage Chicory

Tremendous, high nutrition, perennial forage. Very drought tolerant, hardy and resilient and adaptable. It will last for many years. The bonus is it will draw the deer in from miles around because they love it! It is a very high protein plant that will help develop and grow the big bodied, big antlered bucks you are after. Chicory can be planted any time during the growing season, as long as there is enough moisture to germinate.  Don’t plant too late as young plants are easier to freeze.  This plant should be mowed 1 or 2 times during the growing season.  This is an excellent seed to mix with clovers, or alfalfas.
